Welcome to All One Market! These Terms of Service govern your use of our Ethiopian local marketplace platform operated by FB-Tech. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.

About All One Market

All One Market is an Ethiopian local marketplace platform that connects Job seeker with employers, and also connects buyers and sellers across all regions, zones, and woredas in Ethiopia. We facilitate the buying and selling of products, services, and skills within local communities, supporting Ethiopian entrepreneurs and businesses.

Our platform is operated by FB-Tech, an Ethiopian technology company committed to empowering local commerce and building trust in our communities.

Eligibility and Account Requirements

Who Can Use All One Market:

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and conduct transactions on All One Market. If you're between 13-17 years old, you may browse the platform but need parental consent to create an account or make purchases.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including your real name, valid email address, phone number, and location (region, zone, woreda). For businesses, you must provide legitimate business information.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure and notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account Verification:

We may require verification of your identity, phone number, or business credentials to maintain trust and safety in our marketplace. Verified accounts receive special badges and may have access to additional features.

Acceptable Use

You May:

Buy and sell legitimate products, services, and search jobs and Hire employee within Ethiopian communities. List items with accurate descriptions, fair pricing, and clear photos. Communicate respectfully with other users. Build your reputation through honest transactions and fair reviews. Use our platform to support local businesses and entrepreneurs.

You May NOT:

• Sell illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or dangerous items.
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive listings.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
• Attempt to bypass our payment systems or avoid fees.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or ratings.
• Share personal contact information in public listings (use our messaging system).
• Spam users with unsolicited messages or advertisements.

Buying and Selling

For Sellers:

• Listing Requirements: All listings must include accurate descriptions, current photos, fair pricing, and clear terms. You must specify your location (region, zone, woreda) and available delivery options.
• Transaction Responsibilities: Process orders promptly, communicate clearly with buyers, package items securely, arrange delivery or pickup as agreed, and provide tracking information when available.
• Customer Service: Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours, resolve disputes fairly, honor your return policies, and maintain professional communication.

For Buyers:

• Making Purchases: Review listings carefully before buying, ask questions if details are unclear, pay using secure payment methods, and provide accurate delivery information.
• After Purchase: Communicate with sellers about delivery, inspect items upon receipt, leave honest reviews, and report any issues promptly to help maintain marketplace quality.

Payments and Transactions

Accepted Payment Methods:

We support various payment options popular in Ethiopia, including mobile money services (CBE Birr, HelloCash, M-Birr), bank transfers, international payment methods (when applicable), and cash on delivery for local transactions.

All payments are processed securely through our trusted payment partners. We don't store your complete payment information on our servers.

Fees and Charges:

All One Market charges small fees to maintain and improve our platform. Current fees include listing fees for premium placements, transaction fees on completed sales, and payment processing fees. All fees are clearly displayed before you complete any transaction.

Local transactions within the same woreda may have reduced fees to encourage community commerce.

Refunds and Disputes:

Each seller sets their own return policy, which must be clearly stated in their listings. For disputes, we provide mediation services to help buyers and sellers reach fair resolutions. In cases of fraud or policy violations, we may issue refunds and take appropriate action against violating accounts.

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content:

You retain ownership of photos, descriptions, and other content you post on All One Market. However, by posting content, you grant us permission to display, store, and share it as necessary to operate our marketplace.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to post all content and that it doesn't violate others' intellectual property rights.

Our Platform:

All One Market, our logo, app design, and features are owned by FB-Tech. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our platform without permission.

Reviews and Ratings

Our review system helps build trust in the Ethiopian marketplace community. Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. Fake reviews, review manipulation, or reviews unrelated to transactions are prohibited and may result in account suspension.

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines, contain inappropriate content, or appear to be fraudulent.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with Ethiopian privacy regulations.

Platform Availability

We strive to keep All One Market available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or to address technical issues. We'll provide advance notice when possible.

We work to ensure reliable service across all Ethiopian regions, even during network fluctuations or infrastructure challenges.

Limitation of Liability

All One Market provides a platform for buyers and sellers to connect. We're not directly involved in transactions between users and don't take possession of items or guarantee their quality, safety, or legality.

FB-Tech and All One Market are not liable for disputes between users, quality of items sold, delivery issues caused by third parties, or losses resulting from user actions that violate these terms.

Our total liability for any claim related to All One Market is limited to the fees you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Account Termination

You Can:

Close your account anytime through your account settings. When you close your account, we'll remove your personal information according to our Privacy Policy, though we may retain transaction records as required by Ethiopian law.

We May:

Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, repeatedly receive negative feedback, or pose risks to our community. We'll provide notice when possible and allow appeals for account actions.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about another user or a transaction, please contact our support team first. We provide mediation services to help resolve disputes fairly and maintain trust in our Ethiopian marketplace community.

For disputes that can't be resolved through our platform, both parties agree to seek resolution through Ethiopian courts with jurisdiction over FB-Tech's business location.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our services, Ethiopian regulations, or business practices. When we make changes, we'll post the updated terms with a new effective date and notify users through the app or email at least 30 days before significant changes take effect.

Your continued use of All One Market after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Legal Compliance

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. All One Market and FB-Tech operate in compliance with Ethiopian commercial law, telecommunications regulations, and financial services guidelines.

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations when using our platform.
